Good news (we think)! Instead of being delayed indefinitely, The Daily Telegraph reports TV1 Australia’s Killing Time miniseries starring David Wenham will premiere early next year. Better late than never, right? The full report from The Daily Telegraph:
Killing Time goes on hold
FOXTEL drama Killing Time won’t be seen on our screens until next year. Despite speculation the David Wenham-led series – originally slated to debut next month – would appear later this year, a production source said this was “not possible”.
Killing Time hit a production hurdle with an October court appearance involving the program’s real-life protagonist, former lawyer Andrew Fraser. “It’s moving to the start of next year. You can’t screen it until five weeks following Fraser being in court, which means mid-November, and that just doesn’t work,” the source said.
Killing Time details Fraser’s dramatic fall from grace and eventual incarceration for being knowingly concerned with the importation of a commercial quantity of cocaine.
The source also claimed a second series had already been commissioned. Foxtel TV1 previously delivered the Graham Kennedy biopic.
What’s that about a second series?…

David stars in the title role in Glenn Owen Dodds, a 16-minute comedy short from director Frazer Bailey.
